Asian American Federation Releases Two New Census Profiles

The Federation’s Census Information Center (CIC) has created two new profiles, based on newly released Census Bureau data from the 2005-2007 American Community Survey (ACS). The first brief covers Asians in New York State and the second covers Asian seniors across the nation. The brief compares Census 2000 and ACS data, where appropriate. Topics include population growth, geographic location, ethnicity, immigration and citizenship, educational attainment, spoken English ability, poverty, and living arrangements.
