Asian American Federation Creates Opportunities
To Donate to Disaster Relief in Burma and China
The Asian American Federation has established funds through which donors may contribute to relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Cyclone Nargis in Burma (Myanmar) on May 2-3 and the 7.9-magnitude earthquake in China's Sichuan Province on May 12.

To support on the ground direct assistance to individuals and families affected by the disasters as well as local community rebuilding efforts, the Federation has set up a fund for each disaster in collaboration with Give2Asia, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization founded by The Asia Foundation to promote charitable giving to Asia. The Asia Foundation works through its offices in Asia to provide direct support to local organizations working in affected communities.
